Default Tricky Dick - Throttle Housing Remove Coolant Flow

So I am doing some searches but, not seeing a write up on bypassing the coolant flow through the throttle housing.

Am I search challenged?

I see some post about simply clamping the lines but, is there a complete removal and bypass walk through

Bypass by blocking the lines with bolts or take a coolant line from the intake manifold to the reservoir. I do the later with 5/16 coolant line & a heatwrap over the line

Do I need to make any adjustments for the lack of the heater plate or just bolt it all back together?

Bolt it back up & check throttle cable adjustment

If you have all the correct rubber and plastic lines, you can tie the two lines together so that the coolant still flows, just not thru the throttle body heater plate.

I’d replace the hard plastic line that gets extremely brittle over time with a new 5/16 coolant line and be done with it. The brittle line to the radiator should also be replaced so you’ll have taken care of 3 possible cooling weak spots.

I wouldn’t think so, pretty straight forward, plus “some” people swear your LR will explode without it. I remove em ASAP no question asked from my LR’s.
