MISFIRE AND BACKFIRE GONE!!! For now..I had swapped wires 1 and 5 somehow...

The new (used) coil I left on and swapped the old STI wires back because the cheap-o wires did seem like absolute garbage.
All new plugs.
I have it idling in the driveway making sure the rtv on the intake gasket sets and dries completely. It sounds good!

Question though,
I have what seems to be an exhaust leak on the driver's side. I can't figure out where it's coming from. Do these motors go through exhaust manifold gaskets ever?

It seems to me it looks like they could be replaced, but I'm wondering if that's the source of my pop/tick sound that sounds like every other exhaust gasket leak I've heard.
