Default Trouble code

I got a P0441 trouble code. Would this be a bad purge valve?

P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
This means the purge valve, which is part of your emisson control, is starting to act up and will most likely need to be replaced.

Mike-
I do you have any suggestions on where to purchase one? or should I just go to the dealer. I also need to get in touch with you to order up tune up stuff.

I looked and only found it at the dealer. (Disco I) part was around $165.
I unpluged mine and used some dielectric grease and pluged it
back in and no code for last 5k and everything is working.

I agree, either a dealer or one of the Rover salvage groups.

Disco Mike where is this sensor located? I have a 2003 Disco SE with 39,000 miles on her. I just had the code read but forgot to attempt to clear it using the Advance autoparts scanner. I read that another forum member unplugged the sensor part and put Di-electric grease on it cleared the code and it was fine. Was the electric grease just a coincedence. If I cant successfully clear the code can I buy a part like this from Drivewire or some other online parts co.?
