Trouble shooting/codes
#11
I had constant issues with the O2 codes for the entire time I owned this Rover. Back in November I replaced the cats and installed NTK O2 sensors. The NTK sensors weren't cheap, but they cleared all of the O2 and misfire codes straight out of the box. Walker and Bosch always ended up spitting O2 codes from time to time. six months without a code now. Longest since I've owned the thing.

Good afternoon matt,
My vacation from the rover only lasted a few days and its back to it. I bought 2 new upstream sensors (walkers) but before I installed them I checked the plugs for power with a light pick. and to my surprise bank one has the problem short. Depending on how you move the plug the light will go on or off. It may just be the plug and if that's the case I'll simply have a mobile mechanic do it. There's not much room to work around with the SAI engine and with my big hands.....I don't want to get stuck. I will keep you posted
