Yes, that was exactly what I was hoping for/loooking for. Printing it out now. Unfortunately, I didnt see your reply or the one before or any of the post after yours until today. I didnt receive notifications,....dont know why.

I've already sorted my way through removing the heads. beginning the re-install today.

What you did is fantastic perhaps it should be included in the post it for head gasket replacement on this page as well or at least mentioned.
If no one tells you to go through the Rave and print out the sections needed it can be confusing at first.
And I am sure (truth be told) when most people open up the rave for the first time they expect to find a chapter on head gasket replacement. I know I did; I even paid for a hard copy of the manual to work with. Total waste on money that should the LR biggest imbursements yet.
Also whoever mention the "in search of video" is correct, if you have not done head gaskets on a "Discovery" it is the best $10.00 you will ever spend on the whole job.
There are a couple of nice little tricks that they tell you about that only have to do with Discovery and it lets you know exactly what you’re in for and the problems you might run into.

Yeah, a video was what I was really hoping for when I posted this thread. Unfortunately, I already had the heads off by the time I saw that tip.

You might as well learn to use the manual, every single job is organized that way to keep the manual from being so large (and expensive) and you won't find videos online for every repair.

Not to mention that this is how nearly every factory service manual from every manufacturer is organized.
