Typhoon Wheels, what to do

I dont know enough about tires to make heads or tails of it so I stuck with the family of tire it had in the size I wanted (245/75/16). They have been great on the trails, but I also have no experience to draw on for comparison.
First thing I did after dropping the old wheels off at home was getting the truck washed, I figure this is the cleanest those wheels will ever be and just wanted to see the package clean.
So far I have added 1.25" spacers, the wheels, the tires, and today I flipped the spare tire carrier around to give some space between tire and bumper. It was touching, now I have some space back.
The final touch is the caps. I ordered on of the lr3 caps in this style and will test fit once its in. I really like the green/black/chrome look against these wheels. The ones I ordered orginially (2 sets) were cheaper than cheap. One fell out before I got home, the others on their way. It is just a foil stamping taped to some plastic. Lesson learned , cheap is cheap.
@Brandon318 Yeah the guard really rounds off the look. I am glad you went through the effort of sourcing it. Do these fit your model year?

Weird I have the same tire size and mine never rubbed on the bumper. When they put the spare on did they do it with the tailgate open? And yeah cheap hubcaps my strategy with those is I just put 2 pieces of scotch tape on them attaching them to the rim. It's not pretty but it passes the 10ft test and they haven't fallen off yet like they did before.

I don't remember exactly how much of a gap there is but it's enough where the tire doesn't rub at all. I do remember when I got a flat once the guy was putting the spare back on the trunk with the door closed and then it started rubbing. So apparently you put the spare on with the door open and then tighten it. I did that and then it stopped rubbing.
