The air intake box clips break, so if that is good grab it. Check it over good for nice aftermarket parts like driveshafts, wires/plugs, etc.

I’ve only picked once and got some nice parts.

Grab the windshield A-pillar cowls, XYZ switch off of the tranny, IAC valve, HVAC blower motor, SAI pump, headlights if in good condition and whole fuse boxes.
Hell... if it has low mileage, grab the speedo, ecu, bcu and slabs.

A heads up, the 2003/2004 air box lid has a MAF opening which is a slightly different size for the 4.6-L engine. I have been keeping my fingers crossed the past few years for a 2004 Disco to show up at the local wreckers. Been praying for 5 years

I’ve always just replaced the 03-04 4.6L intake tube/air box lids with 4.0L intake tube/air box lids. The difference is so tiny I’d rather have a slightly stronger air box lid vs .001 of a HP.

On Junk yard wonders, I grab the OEM trailer wiring box (ends are usually trashed) so I just connect them to the flat 4 wire style. OEM Aux 2 Light Switches & locking Cruise Control switches and pigtail. IAC’s, nut/bolt on OEM battery terminals, cup holders, OEM floor mats, check for an aftermarket front drive shaft (have discovered several $$$ aftermarket units), XYZ switch if it’s not sitting on the ground, door seals (great upgrade for RRC/D1’s), plastic trim under & around front seats, if it’s an 03-04 I check the date on the SLABS unit & grab it. 04 CDL (normally snag em for under 30.00), fuel door clips (if they aren’t broken/missing), OEM jack, tire cover if it’s OEM style, A pillar trim, roof drip rails, rear roof drip rail trim, and I’ve missed but actually seen several ARB’s hit like LKQ!!!! Missed em by hours!! But I have grabbed 36.00 RTE D2 rock sliders before.
