Default Ultra gauge mount local

Hey I know this topic has been beat to death. I had been using the window suction mount on mine but they pop off in cold weather. I read about some guys mounting at the ashtrays location but I wanted it higher for better visibility. Long story short I just decided to get the horizontal mounting bracket and I am way happy with it. I can clean the window easier and no winter pop offs.

Mine is in the same location, but I didn't know about a horizontal mount. Mine sits there on a strip of Velcro, leaning against the A-pillar. It's a great location.

I really like that spot! Is that bracket extra?

The website says they are $7.40. But again, you don't need the horizontal mount, all you need is a little strip of Velcro. I will post pictures of mine when I can get around to it.

I use this magnetic mount and have it stuck on the right side of the dash -- works like a charm and never pops off.

I have the vertical mount, but after seeing the gauge up by the A pillar, I may be moving mine in the future, that looks like a good spot.

I have the site up to order a UG however it looks like they have 3 different versions V1.2, V1.4, and MX.
I can clear codes with it right? I know it is semantics but the site says you can "turn them off"

Im not sure on the difference in models? I think I purchased the original version, whatever that one is/was, this was 4-5 years ago......yes they clear codes, and they have alarms you can set also. Awesome purchase.

UltraGauge can clear engine management codes, but not ABS, SRS or transmission codes.

The main difference is between the EM and MX. The MX having the option to program manufacturer specific codes.

Only purchase the MX if you are certain that Manufacturer OBDII codes exist for your year, make, model and engine size. Otherwise please purchase the UltraGauge EM Plus
The best source of vehicle codes is an automotive forum specific to your vehicle.
