Well Amazon messed up and isn't going to bring the gauges until Friday even though I paid the extra $5.99 for next day shipping.... Reminds me of that other thread.

So this project will have to be postponed a few more days unfortunately. I promise to post pics when it is installed.

Hey Cam, sorry for the delay. Just posted the write up. Not super detailed, but hopefully it helps you out.

Thank you so much Alex. This is something I haven't really done before so any help is very useful to me.

So I am finally installing the oil pressure gauge today. I am going to use the spare oil plug on the timing cover. I have heard that it is an M12 plug, however, I seem to have two M12 adapters. One is M12x1.0 and the other is M12x1.75. Which do I use?
Thanks

Just try one, gently, and if it doesn't screw in smoothly try the other one.

That should work.

Also, does anyone know if any oil will come out of here? If so, how much?

I too am thinking of the Bosch triple mech gauge. Please post pics of where you mounted it. I like to keep original aesthetics as much as possible.

Please post results, size that fits, etc. I want to do the same thing, if it works for you.
