Default Ultragauge setup

I tried looking through other threads but couldn't find basic info on the Ultra-Gauge setup.

1. What is the gas tank size on a stock 2003 Disco II?

2. I am fairly confident that it's a 4.0 Liter engine. Is this correct?

3. What is the protocol code? Ford?

All evidence points to it being a 23 gal gas tank, although I'm sure my owners manual says 20 gal. Will check that.

Per the RAVE the tank is 25.5 gallons.

4.0L = 3950 cc
4.6L = 4554 cc

Like abran stated 03 & 04 have the 4.6L.

I think I read somewhere that people have been using the 25.5 gallon figure for the ultra-gauge as well.

I believe my Disco S is a 4.6L.

So the last thing is, what protocol do I use?

Not trying to hijack this, but I'm having awful time trying to set up my U-Gauge. I can't find out how to have the coolant and tans temp gauges show up?? All I see are fuel related options and BHP. The fuel stuff doesn't even work. It says my instant MPG is 0.0 and my average is 316 mpg. Obviously I've done something wrong. I don't care about the fuel crap, it's a rover so who cares. Any help on where to find the temp related settings would be very appreciated.

It's been a few years since I set mine up, so I don't remember what protocol you're talking about. Gas tank is 25.5 like stated above, but I usually have to fill up (warning light comes on) at about 20-21 gallons. Have you checked the UG website? They have a forum on there about set-up and calibration for each vehicle.

When you are in the menu selecting what you want displayed, just keep going through the pages. The temp options are several pages back in the menu. It took me a while to find them, if I remember correctly. It's been a few years since I set mine up. UG has some helpful info on their website if I remember correctly. Their is a forum on their page.

I got it figured out. I reset the UG and started over. I had to tell it to pick up the enhanced gauges during set up.

Do you guys know how to turn the damn oil miles alarm off? I have to suspend it every time I turn the truck on. It's so damn annoying. I've been dealing with it for a year now and it says I'm 8,000 miles due for an oil change.
