So this gauge only displays engine sensor data. No trouble or ABS codes?

it does display pending and current codes. it does NOT read or display ABS codes.

it also clears current, stored codes.

No, it does not read nor clear ABS codes.

My ultraguage app on my iphone updated yesterday and now it is no longer giving me coolant temp (always reads -40). Anyone else having this issue?

Just buy the basic ultraguage.
UG's are the DB's, they highlight many problems before they become critical. Well worth the investment for 'at a glance' and 'peace of mind'. I for one am an advocate.

PS: yep, it's a 'read only' aid and not a diag kit.
