What have you tried so far?
Did you install a CDL shifter onto your truck?

what? you have to install it?! some guy on discoweb told me i could just sit it on my of my old shifter and it would work fine.

lol. Spike, I got to take out some frustration on a white D1..tearing apart the center console and beating out the pop rivets with a hammer and chisel because I forgot to bring a drill....I was thinkin' of you big guy.

Is the linkage all in one piece?
Does it move freely?
Can you turn the nut ontop of your t-case?
Is your trans in neutral?

Oh I was j/k about it not working..I took that pic right after I got back in my rover at the salvage yard..I have to install the new shifter..I got everything, shifter, housing, linkage, pins, bolts.

have you tried removing the sticker from the D2 setup and reinstalling a sticker from a D1? this might work.
