...thanks! will give them a call today, if not opened, on Monday, since no way to send them a message on their website, and running a search gave no results. Thanks again for the info.

Hi All!

Sad to report that still unable to find correct fuse box (YQE000250), or the one that superseded it (YQE000410).

But earlier today went to the junk yard that reported a similar Disco going in last week, and although same year and VIN starting with SALTY like mine, it turned out to be a non-SAI model. Nevertheless I pulled it out and will take it to my mechanic tomorrow and see what happens, anything to get the truck to at least start.

Like I said, donor is a non-SAI model and part # on it is YQE103830, which is one of the four numbers mentioned when looking for the fuse box of my particular model (2002 Disco S2 SE), dunno if the pulled fuse box works, but we'll see what happens tomorrow and report back! ;-]#

Actual part from truck is YEQ000250, but it has been superseded by YQE000410, so either part number will work.

Truck cranks but no start for over 4 months already, and after many testings, ruling out faults and a few part replacements, we're down to the fuse box as the only thing left to try and fix the issue.

Let me know, thanks! ;-]#
Im located in Oshawa Ontario Canada, id lend you my spare as a tester, don't know if it's still good

...thanks for the offer NICKS, I'm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That's one of the issues my mechanic is having, not having a working fuse box to test. I'll bring him the one I pulled today and see where it take us, but again, don't know if it actually works, since it is a different part #, and was pulled from a junked Disco. Send me a PM about your offer, and see how we can make it happen, thanks.

FYI -- I am pretty sure you can use any 99-02 fusebox, SAI or not.

Awhile back I replaced mine in my 00 for a persistent HDC lamp issue, and I never once checked whether they had SAI or not in my (relatively thorough search). The rover parts diagrams also are not SAI/non-SAI specific -- see https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...nd/land-rover/

You should be able to use any of following (supercessions in order), pasted from my notes at the time.
YQE103830 -> YQE000110 -> YQE000250 -> YQE000410). Also maybe off a 99 YQE103320 (older but heard to avoid). NOT YQE000251 which is off 03/04

Thanks for your feedback NASHVEGAS, very helpful and inline with my way of thinking. Hopefully the part I pulled is a working one, and if indeed my Disco's fuse box is the issue, finally get it to run with the swap
.
If it fails, I saw someone offering a YQE000110 on ebay, I might as well try that one too.

Thanks again!

Hello Roverers! I'm happy to report that after taking the YQE103830 fuse box pulled from donor Disco in junkyard, my mechanic called me yesterday afternoon to say the it was running just fine. That they've taking it for few rides and errands with no issues whatsoever, and was confident for me to take it home, so I'll be going there this morning to pick it up and test it myself. Fingers crossed the issue has been solved. I'll be reporting back.

Thanks to everyone and each of you for your suggestions and recommendations during this ordeal, very glad to be part of this family of LR owners! ;-]#
