Default Universal Oxygen Sensors

I have searched for the answer to this in the forum with not much luck. So I purchased four universal four wire sensors supposedly for Land Rover Discovery 1 (1996) the leads are two white a gray and a black. Im sure the two whites are the filament heaters and are interchangable, but what colors cross reference with the gray and black on the stock D1 harness?

There should be instructions with the O2's.

First of all, there are 2 different sets of 02 sensors foe a 96 D1, based on your vin. Are you sure yuou have the correct sensor, go to, http://www.roverconnection.com/
And get the vin information .

I used universal O2's on my wifes Volvo and they came with clear instructions.
If the ones you bought do not have the correct number of wires then you have the wrong ones.

I have not recvd them yet, they are advertised as LR replacements. But I could find no data on the wiring interchange for LR. If its like you said instructions Spike I guess im good to go. I got two Magnaflow cats too! I am doing head gaskets and timing chain soon. I will post pics!
