Smile Updated Thread on Disco II Front Bumpers (for 2021)

Hey All, newbie here! I've been browsing this forum for many years but just created an account.

I've searched through the old bumper thread, which is very good, but almost all the link are dead now. Can we get a new one going or can anyone recommend a nice-looking one ~ $500-800 usd?

I have a 2001 Disco 2 SD.

Maybe something like this:

Although one with a grill guard would be badass too!

Thanks!

Good looking option at the high end of your price range

Heres mine from First Four Offroad UK. With shipping it was still within your budget range. The winch mount is a separate "discreet mount" under and behind the bumper.

What I would love to see with any additions to this list:

- Is there ANY trimming involved?

- Does the bumper cover the washer bottle?

- Is is so heavy that it will lower the front, and you might need new springs?

Thanks in advance,

Sean.

@SeanBaker given the stock ones are pretty light, you should add new springs and shocks MD or HD springs depending on teh bumper/winch combo

Not to mention the age and wear on the original springs that has already occurred. I have seen stock D2's that are sitting 1.5" lower due to worn out coil springs.

There's a bumper that I have seen twice in person on trucks here locally in Portland Oregon, I think it's off the charts superb. (Better than the Atlantic British version, for example, although that's still pretty good and not too expensive)

I ran into a guy in a parking lot and stalked him until he came back to his truck to ask him what the bumper was. Casey's Custom - caseyscustom.com - out of Utah I believe. Off Road Accessories

One thing I think is cool is that on a 99-02 you can use this bumper, it has a hidden winch tray, and then you can add the 03/04 fog lights. Looks mean too.

BTW no affiliation or skin in any game w/ them - I just wrote it down as "I will buy this when it's time for my bumper"

Best looking aftermarket option imho.

Chris at Dark Crow Designs makes a mean front bumper and the prices are reasonable.
