upgrade Stereo to Joying Android Stereo with 10 inch screen
hi, Has anybody done it? The plan it to use the new stereo also for a reversing camera which I will also fit but first I need to figure out how to install it.
Working using the following diagram:
The joying stereo comes with an adapter where I could fit the C0092 and C0098 sockets. With those in the stereo comes on but no sound comes out...
btw, i do not care about the rear headphones or cd changer
thansk

The connectors that I have plugged are the ISO 10487, which are (should be) standard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connec...or_car_audio):
and the rest of the connections:
This is the diagram on the joying stereo:
btw.. this is how it will look:

Apple carplay, in a rover??? Madness, I need to do this. How much did it cost, what unit did you go with?

Short answer, found a local shop with an installer that does good work. He modified the dash a lot to get it installed and looking like came that way. I don't have the skills nor time to take that on my self.

I'm overseas traveling and don't remember the model number. It's a Kenwood eXcelon like DNX9 something.
Was a complete install.
Focal 3 ways upfront
Focal 2 ways in the back doors
Dynamat doors
Front and rear dash cam install (independent from the deck)
Front and back up cameras connected to the deck
Amps
10" Sub on the back door.
USB power points in rear (replaced stock passenger radio controls)
2 USB and 1 HDMI connection in the dash
Was $5,000 before tax in parts and labor
Sounds awesome and I love the Car Play integration
Rear sub was a lot of work. I wanted it to look stock'ish and not interfere with the fold down jump seats.
