Default UPS lost my Transfer Case

Finally located a CDL Transfer Case I wanted with low miles. It was put in black wooden crate with yellow lid and shipped to Arizona. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday but the last physical scan of the crate was in Chicago last Friday.

I have an open claim and they still haven’t located it. Truck is at the shop already with the non-CDL tc removed.

Good times :0

I don't understand how they can lose something like that. I wouldn't even doubt for a second that it was stolen, especially with everyone freaking out over the virus, in Chicago no less.

Its insanity, LOL! If it was stolen I can only imagine the work that guy will be doing once he opens that crate! If it fell and they smashed the crate I think they would have figured out the shipping address and would have located it already. The guys at my receiving station here in Phoenix were very cool when I drove over. He went to the back to the repacking area - he came back and reported he did not see any wood splinters from a box being cracked open but was pretty positive it never arrived here.

It should be covered under the insurance but it takes them 10 days to settle it. I would rather then just find it and ship it over here...

I'm surprised UPS would even handle something that heavy, thought their maximun weight was 75 lbs?

Hopefully, they find yours and everything works out.

Brian.
