Default US Headlight vs Canadian Headlight

Are there any differences in the 2 units? Would a canadian headlight unit work on a US vehicle?

There is no difference between the NAS (North American Spec) model's.
The Canadian headlights are daytime running lights which is done by the dealer programming the ECU to have the headlights on all the time.
Just like GM cars here in the US.
So the headlight assemblies from the US and Canadian models are exactly the same.

Headlights in Canada a required to be on at all times. The disco already does that so your fine. Thats usually the only difference between US and Can. vehicles, thats also how you can tell if some Americancars where made in Canada or the US. I'm not sure why i know that....
