My new engine block that I am putting the crank in from the old engine came with its crank bearing caps. Do I use the ones that match with the crank or the block. I think it makes the most sense to use the ones matched with the new block since they were likely included there for a reason.

 

The caps with the block are the correct ones to use. You would expect to have to line bore the block/caps if you used other caps.
