Charlie,
I'd sell you the bumper in a heartbeat if I had a replacement. No misunderstanding at all.

Who knows, I have four DII's here now for parting and I expect another four or five over the coming weeks. If one comes in with a fairly decent bumper I'd be more than happy to slap that one on my truck and sell you this TJM.

I was thinking about exactly how long ago I had that DI with the front and rear TJM bumpers. That was back in '09. It was at that time that TJM was leaving the US. I guess they decided the US market was too good to write off. That T15 Deluxe is the bumper I have. I just don't know how old it is. There is some very minor surface rust but otherwise, it's as solid as a rock.
Cheers,
Paul

I'll be honest, I was soured on the ARB's a couple of years ago when I read comments here, on LRF, about when twisting while winching and then got confused about the air bag/non air bag setups. DiscoMike sent me plans for a very nice bumper, but I couldn't get a shop here to make it for me and I don't have the skill or equipment. I checked TJM in AUstralia and they cost more there, even adjusting for money conversion. I don't know why they are selling them here again but I am glad... my factory bumper has been broken for maybe 8 years. Not a problem until recently when it became brittle and I stood on it to reach the back of the upper intake. Eek.

the running joke at my house is what things cost in relation to a bumper. For instance, I had to buy a new front driveshaft yesterday and new washing machine... "There goes my bumper"... It is always something.

Yes, I was talking about the Terrafirma bumper. WINCH BUMPER TERRAFIRMA DISCOVERY II, TF009A, disco 2 front bumpers - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

I am not too crazy about the lines of the TJM or ARB bumper. If the price was right I would settle for it. I love the clean/close lines of the Terrafirma bumper.

A TJM bumper was purchased from L8 earlier this year by forum member wynhd.

I just emailed Eric at Lucky8 (mentioned in the other thread), WITH A LINK TO THE THREAD (including price, with an eye toward matching), and will let you know what I find out.
