'01 Disco II, no SAI, 180K on the chassis, with roughly 150K on the engine.

While trying to diagnose a surging idle and some CELs, I found some hard plastic lines that aren't connected to anything in 2 different locations. I've uploaded photos here

Location 1: 2 hard plastic lines running from transmission tunnel to RH (passenger) side of engine. I lied a little bit when I said they weren't connected to anything... These lines were melted to the top of the catalytic converter!

Location 2: Single hard line running from beneath brake booster, up around the outboard side and across the top.

Those are the breather lines for the front diff (driver side) and the trans (pass side).

Driver side looks as it should.

The other is probably the loop that extends up to the firewall and back down to the trans. On the same side there is also one for the transfer box. The top of that one is curved and looks kind of like a black handle for a dipstick.
