Values?
If your chassis is in good shape consider applying Waxoil for the long term. The steel in the chassis on these trucks is so cheap everything here in New England is rotting away. I've said it a thousands times before, with DI's the bodies rusted off the chassis, with DII's the chassis rusts out from under the body.
I am considering selling our 2004 SE7. She is in excellent condition inside and out. I've done all of the preventive maintenance and repairs as well as new tires. I've also added a safari rack/lights and ladder. She has 93k miles. I purchased her from an independent dealer in Portland for $12k but have been checking cars.com retail prices. Decent, low mileage trucks are listed from $14 to $19k! Having been in the car business for years I understand that "askig price" and "selling price" are two very different things but does anyone see these prices as obtainable for low mileage, clean examples? Do we think our trucks are appreciating in value?
It's probably worth more to you than you will get for it. I love my Disco 2, but could not justify buying another for more than I could get a newer LR3 for.
