If your chassis is in good shape consider applying Waxoil for the long term. The steel in the chassis on these trucks is so cheap everything here in New England is rotting away. I've said it a thousands times before, with DI's the bodies rusted off the chassis, with DII's the chassis rusts out from under the body.

You have to consider the cost of LR3's too. Anyone, outside of a Disco enthusiast, would rather have that vehicle.

It's probably worth more to you than you will get for it. I love my Disco 2, but could not justify buying another for more than I could get a newer LR3 for.
