Valve cover gasket

Valve cover gasket
I noticed some oil loss so I topped off then started and saw some smoke and I can see my passenger side valve cover gasket is leaking a lot of oil. I am going to try to tighten bolts first but am preparing to fully replace them if that doesn’t work. I have rave and videos on doing the job but do you guys suggest anything else while I’m there. So far I have the coil packs, plugs and wires. Already did pcv valve mod and replaced that plastic part inside the tube that is the filter . What else should I do while I’m in there

Juke is right, take your time. Work in a pattern around the 4 bolts, tightening each one a little at a time. Carefully monitor the edges of the gasket to make sure it doesn't start to compress unevenly and protrude out the side, this is important. This means the gasket is not seated in the cover's groove correctly and it will leak. If this happens, remove the cover, reseat the gasket and start over. The pass side on my truck to 3 or 4 tries to get right but ultimately it sealed and it hasn't leaked a drop in 10k miles.
