You will have to remove the top half of the intake manifold, and depending on the mileage, the lower end of the intake and do a complete reseal. If you are going to do this and you are over 60,000 miles then replace the plug wires at the same time.

Well I can tell you that I just did aseafoam cleaning, ATF engine flush, oil change and thenremoved the intake manifold to replace the valve cover gaskets, plugs and wires. There are alot of things to remove but the Rave manual and a direct hotline to Disco Mike made it rather easy. I had to call Mike when I got confused a few times but I can assure you that I have never attempted anything this involved mechanically and I would have no qualms about doing it again. My wife assisted by reading the directions, cleaning parts, and bringing tools, cold beer and lit cigarettes ... God Bless her!

We took our time and it took a good bit of Sat and Sun. Didn't even watch any playoff games!

Goodluck,
Mark
