Default Very very bad day

Hey everyone, I'm new to the whole forum thing and this internet so bare with me. I've come across a very serius problem today, as I was driving home from work today I lost my brakes completely!!!!!! Thank god no one was hurt and very little damage to the disco but as I was coming to a stop and I was applying my brake I felt the pedal go all the way down to the floor and NO stop. I'm very happy no one was around and nothing happened to anyone but I need to fix this problem a.s.a.p and I hope I can do something in my drive way because I want to keep off the street.

FYI: I have an ABS light on for sometime now and my shop told me it was a sensor.

Can anyone please help????

Pretty simple, most likely your master cylinder failed or your fluid leaked so low that you have air in the lines. When was the last time you checked your brake fluid?
If you have fluid in the reservor and the brakes won't pump up, it will be the mast cylinder for sure.
