Default Vibration on acceleration and at highway speeds

I have what feels to be a driveline vibration when accelerating, also at highway speeds accelerating or not. All 4 u-joints have been replaced with greasable ones, new flex joint, brand new tires. All engine and transmission mounts "look" ok. Only thing i can think of is mounts or a diff going south. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

Bushes may be shot causing the vibes. Check Radius Arm bushes, panhard rod bushes, watts linkage. Also, check for play at the tie rod ends.

Did happen before you rebuilt the drive shaft, did you replace the centering ball?

Had that on my D1 after 2'' lift.
Mine was so bad that I lost my whole propshaft on high speed and had to walk back almost 1 km to recover it.
Got rid of the Rotoflex coupler and installed U-Joints.
All vibrations were gone !
Wasn't to expensive also.

Regards
Hercu

I will check the bushings out, new tie rod ends are going on tomorrow.

It did do it before I rebuilt the two shafts, heard the horror stories of the front shaft. They were non-greasable but looked fine when removed, plenty of grease still left in them. I replaced the centering ***** as well, all Precision parts.

If I were you the first thing I would do is begin the process of elimination. As drowssap said drop each shaft and go for a ride. See if the vibes go away. If not, move on... Based on the what I read above (you be the ultimate decision maker) your drive shafts sound like they're okay . Let's move forward and rule them out.

Are you replacing all four (drag link and track rod) ends? When you do - even if you think you have the new rod ends on perfectly, pay the $100; a get a four wheel alignment after the install. Trust me Have the alignment technician provide you w/ the before and after measurement printout. You'll be shocked at the results Process of elimination. Moving on...

As far as the "vibration", are you sure it's not tire or wheel related?

Did the vibration surface after you installed the new driveshaft?

If yes, it appears the driveshaft may be the cause of the problem. You may need to get it re-balanced. Typically costs aroubd $60 to $100 to take it to a driveline shop to get it re-balanced.

That's not good. Drain a little fluid (front and Rear) to see if it's still milky brown. It should look dark golden honey color. Not like a chocolate/vanilla milkshake. That means water entered the diff housing by a broken or blocked diff vent tub.
