Default Vibration help on potential purchase

First off, thanks in advance for any suggestions. I have had two discos in the past and am looking to get another one. I am well aware of the quirks and have thoroughly read through other posts to get an idea of the issues with the 03-04 engines. I found an 04 S with 105k that is in very good condition, has had regular maintenance done, just had brake fluid flushed, trans filter and fluid, axle fluid, tcase fluid, coolant, new front drive shaft, brake pads, and other little items. It needs a few things like the front window regulators fixed and headliner (just barely starting to sag)--no biggie. I would probably do water pump and thermostat to be safe. The issue I am leery of is a vibration from about 50 to 65 that is a high frequency vibe that feels a prop shaft. The current owner replaced the front shaft thinking it would fix it but made no difference, AND tested it with the front shaft out and it still had the vibe. The rear rubber coupler has some dry rot cracks, but does not look too terrible. No signs of weights being knocked off the rear shaft. The output shafts on the tcase seem tight, no movement. So, does anyone have any suggestions? Could it be hubs? The vibe is present both on and off the throttle, but more evident on the throttle. I tried driving straight with the the CDL locked at this speed and it seemed a bit better. The tires are Michelin LTX MS with good tread. I would not imagine they would make a high frequency type of vibe even if out of balance. I am trying to get the seller to test with the rear shaft out (I know and trust him) to see if it goes away. What speed range would the rear coupler cause issues at? What other things should I check? Thanks!

Could be hubs, yes
Could be bent rim or tire out of balance. You would be surprised about the tires.

Could spring for high speed balance of tires.

Thanks for the replies. It could indeed be the tires. I noticed you can kind of feel an "oval wheel" sensation when slowing at about 5 mph or so. Any other ideas? How often do the rotoflex couplers actual cause vibes on a stock truck?

I have that exact same problem.
I'll be interested in what you find.

I have not driven my D2 for a month.
I took it out today and I did not go over 65 mph.
At 65 to 70 I get that vibe really bad too.

It can't be good.

As I don't know what is really is, I am simply not going past 65mph.

I agree with the tire balance idea.
