If you mean when you grab the driveshaft you have radial play, thats perfectly normal, its just the "slack" in the gears.

The play you dont want is in the UJ itself.

OK. Thats It I guess. I do have some Play in The U Joint. Work shop said it was acceptable and even do I changed all U Joints I guess they were not installed Properly or they were not the best quality.

I Just ordered a complete set o new U Joints from Rover Connection but still thinking of changing the mounts as well like disco Mike said.

Thanks for helping me to narrow down and saving some $$$

Well seems I Have play on Both drive shafts and the Engine Mount below driver is cracked. So Good Guess Disco Mike.

I was Just wondering if these engine Mount could cause the U Joints to Fail because i changed all of them about a year ago and now they are shot?.
I greased them about 3 times.

Were can I Get an engine Mount , Rover Connection dont have them.
