Eventually the vehicles will be so complex they will require constant communications with the central stealership computer. Kinda like "VICKI" in iRobot. Steps are already underway....

The VIN came back as one seized in a drug arrest, vehicle is supposed to belong to a federal agency, used as a "bait car" with 20 kilos of drugs inside the door panels.

Unfortunately, they Lost Track of it. Now a drug dealer has a vehicle full of drugs and guns, for FREE.

Near me on I-95, the drug highway from south Florida to the north east, drug interdiction is daily by various departments. The small towns love the fact that they get to keep monies found. One friend stopped a vehicle and dog alerted, found $90,000 and dope. City loved that windfall. The state has seized vehicle auctions all the time, but they keep coupes and specialty SUVs for under cover work. My fave was a pimped out Caddy with wide whitewalls, and curb feelers. The curb feelers had been replaced with VHF antennas for the hidden radio.

This is the annoying dirty little secret about why the WOD continues. It's about the $$$, not the children.

+10,000 And I personally do not approve of ANY drugs, but I don't believe the war is being fought for the right reasons.

Our Dept of Natural Resources (welcome to Georgia, owned and operated by the DNR) does a similar thing with vehicles and illegal hunting. Don't be caught shining Qbeams on deer at night off road, with firearms in the vehicle. And I just passed another urine test. When I worked for the county the tests were "random". But the IT department was accused of never having staff on the tests (just luck of the draw). So we had to mod the software where at least one random IT guy was picked each month, plus random for everyone else.

Like many on here. my drug of choice is the scent of Rotella....

Also, for the record, I wouldn't judge anyone else for doing SOME drugs, depending on what they are (Heroine is obviously a no-no), it's just that they are not for me personally. To each their own.

I have brothers who smoke Whacky Tobacky, but again, just not for me.
