Default Voyager Roof Rack - My Experience

I wanted to pass along my experience purchasing a Voyager roof Rack. I did a lot of researching. Reading this forum there were some people commenting on the bad experience and build quality of Voyager's offerings from some years ago. Looking at all of the options I really liked the way the rack looked. After talking with Mike in their sales department my concerns were put to rest and I purchased their Disco 2 commercial rack option.
I was told it would be 2 weeks to build and about a week to ship. It arrived right on time and Rack was sufficiently packed and had no damage. It fit perfectly and the rack has nice finish and I like the design in person even better.
Anyone looking for a roof rack should check them out!

I want to commend you for offering this post. All too often items in this forum that aren't about problems with our trucks (no problem with that) are about problems with vendors. It's great that you took the time to give credit where credit is due.

Hard to tell from the pics but it looks just like the Safety Device roof rack. What is the difference? Both are tubular in design. Both have a stepped rear section. Compared to other racks that are non tubular, no stepped rear section and more product support.

Yes both roof windows can be fully opened. Wind noise is there especially when you get above 60 or so. It doesn't whistle which would really bother me. For most of my driving I don't hear anything.

The contractors edition was $1099 and $175 to ship to a business.

Thanks
