I have a Walmart battery with no issues. On the engineered products specifically to Walmart's price point, I don't buy that.

There are inherent problems with all batteries whatever the type and value, some last 10 months whereas others last 10 years, the problems are guessing which will last the longest. I have a D2 TD5 which is only on it's second battery, both have been original LR batteries, the first lasted 3-4 years and this one around 10 years, go figure eh, and it starts every time within milliseconds.

I just came in from the shop and saw this thread. I had to change the battery in my 69 corvette. They put those behind the driver seat. The receipt for it was dated January 2003. I bought it at wall mart. I run interstate batteries in everything now but damn, I think 14 years might be a new record.
