Not really, other then the usuall head gasket issue.
By time, your new truck is ready for the 60,000 major service, how mechanical are you?

 

Make sure your front drive shaft has been converted to greaseable u-joints.

Now this is why I love this Forum.
I'm fairly mechanical. I own a torque wrench and an ohm meter. I've seen them for PC's , does a mechanics manual exist on cd for Macs? Is the U-joint conversion a common thing?

I use a MacBook Pro and have the RAVE manual downloaded. Make sure you have Adobe Acrobat set as your default reader for pdf files and it will work fine. You you don't have adobe you can download the latest version for from their website for free.
