Another post reminded me. I just bought an '03 Disco that is under factory warrany until July. I'm waiting to finalize some personal scheduling before I call the dealership for minor things. But does anybody know if anything needs to be done to transfer the factory warranty?

Nothing needs to be done. Make sure you have it checked over very carefully before the warranty expires also consider buying an extended warrant to cover the next few years, trust me you will be glad you did.
