My Disco 1 has what looks like two nozzels for washing the headlights... yet i cannot find a button to activate them anywhere. was this an option that i don't have? something i can easily set-up?

I have a Disco II 99, the switch for the washers are on my instrument panel on the right side. hope this helps some

For a DI the headlight washer will only work if the headlights are on, they automaticly come on when the headlights are on and you use the washers for the windshield.
Wash the windshield, wash the headlights.

Yeah Spike is right (as always!). For both DI and DII according the the manual, if the lights are on and you pull the lever to wash the windows, after approx three seconds the light washers will come on too.
