Default Water

I have a 94' Disco and i would like to know why every time i get in to some water when im on trails no matter how slow i go or what i do with the throtle it just dies on the spot, and the only way to get it to start again is to open the air box. Also what should i do about it.

-Thank You

You may want to start cleaning and sealing all your connections and grounds, cause you have one or more that are dirty, not sealed or loose.

Wet filter won't cause a quick stall, a really wet filter will kill the engine from hydra lock.
You have electrical connection issues.
