Default Water gushing noise under the dash

Lately I have been hearing a water gushing noise under the dash. It seems to be when the engine is cold and when the engine speed is increaced. Could this be a clogged heater core? It has 108,000 miles. The antifreeze level is correct.

Thank you,
Willie

You may think your coolant level is OK, but you do have air trapped in the engine and that is what you are hearing. Need to have a shop do a coolant pressure test to find your leak and I would suggest you do it real soon. The normal cause for this is failing head gaskets, a leaking intake manifold gasket, a bad water pump any of which can toast your engine.

I can tell you that I had the same thing happen to us in January on our '02 SE7. It was in fact a blown head gasket. It was coming out right next the firewall at the rear of the engine. $1800 later my problem is solved!!! Previous owner's must not have changed the Oil as my Disco only has 56K miles!! Good luck!!
