Guys , if you see where the water is sitting it’s a good bit away from the windscreen and would water travel up stream if the motor is parked on a slight slope facing downwards 🤔

Hey Folks ,

I took a pic of where the water is sitting on the inside but showing from the outside the distance from screen to where water is.

Any advice welcome.

As you can see where my finger is that’s roughly where the water is sitting on the inside.

Check your roof rack seals that is about where it came in on my passenger side from a roof rack leak

Your picture clearly shows a damaged seal on the top corner of the windscreen:

That was an after market seal used as the genuine seal kept pushing out the screen.

The non genuine seal fitted by the windscreen technician was then sealed in both external corners with silicone etc.

I think roof rack but also check for stress cracks in the rain gutters. Look into the gutter from above. As with most cars these areas were sealed with body sealant at the factory. Over time it gets brittle and cracks with road stress and flex, then leak.
