Hi all,


Have got a very slow water leak but cannot find it on my W reg TD5. Have performed the following checks.

> Coolant system has been pressurised for 2-3 hours - passed
> Gas tested the cylinders - passed
> Ran for 2 hours in the workshop - no leak
> Got no water in the oil
> Got no oil in the water

It looses about 1 pint every 150 miles. Allot more if towing or over weight.

Can hear sloshing behind the dash too.

Recently the disco has been kangaroo hopping at constant revs

Any ideas???

Was the pressure test done with the heater on or off? If off then it's likely your heater matrix is leaking into the dash - if the heater was on, then I dunno
