Default Water Pouring in Passenger Seat belt

Had some heavy rains, and water is pouring down through the upper opening to the passenger seat belt... Any thoughts on where to start looking for this leak

So weird, Mine just did this last week. For me it happened on braking so I think the water was pooled up in the headliner panel and drained out the passenger side seatbelt on deacceration. It is raining here now and I checked it, dry so far but will check when I drive it today. I had the headliner out last summer and sealed everything obvious - roof bars (mine is an 04) which will actually hold water inside the bars, alot of water. My sunroof drains were all OK and intact. The odd thing for me is that my headliner is bone dry and I redid it with a material that would show water absorption big time if it got wet. My sunroofs are working.

Hello fellow PNW’er- I had this same issue and it was definitely a broken sunroof drain. Or rather, like dswilly mentioned, water would pool up either in the sunroof tray and then slosh out down the B pillar on to my (unhappy) wife. At any rate, you have 2 options as I see it either seal up those sunroofs or take out the headliner and repair the blocked or broken tubes, or, like me you can do both if you have no desire to open the sunroofs.

Word to the wise, of course- get it on your todo list before the rainy season starts!
