Hello All,

new 2001 Disco2 SE 4.0 w/ACE owner. Just wanted to confirm if you guy are talking about this water pump?

The Airtex brand was pretty popular for a number of years. Airtex used to offer two versions, either a steel or brass impeller. The brass version was apparently was more reliable. But I believe it is no longer available. You can still find Airtex pump with the steel impellers.

This Flowcooler version came out a few years ago and has had good reviews. Some have reported more flow rate which is what our engines needs (ie, narrow overheat cooling range):

I installed a Flowkooler in my Disco and it works VERY well. Much lower temps then before although I also did the inline thermostat modification at the same time. Those two together mean I have ZERO cooling problems
