Why is the left rear corner so much heavier then the right rear corner. It's an 04 SE7, stock besides a front steel bumper, a snorkel and no third row seats. The low fuel light is on so basically empty tank, maybe 20# of stuff in the rear area, otherwise empty.

Reason: Clarity
When was your scale last calibrated? It seems light overall. I got 5280 out of mine. Apart from a Wilderness roof rack and some fuel, it was stock 5 seater with only some basic spares in it. I remember the number well because it's exactly a mile. The missing 300# on your right rear would put it much closer to mine.
And how many others thought this was about a Disco as compared to a Range Rover?
I've updated the OP to be more clear. I see my mistake there. =)
Scales are relatively new and I use them to weigh my race car it's within a few percentages in all my test. They are not perfectly accurate. The total weight is actually pretty close to the listed curb weight for the D2 but it is on the lighter side.
@ahab When you weighed yours was just a total weight? Were you in it? A half tank of gas is 82lbs and other stuff can add up faster then you think.
I'd be interested to see corner weights from another disco if any one has them. Total weight numbers too as they're easier to get.
We have a truck scale at one of our offices in MA so whenever I'm there I run my cars across it just because. I usually get out to weigh them but I seem to think I may been in the Disco that time, taking pictures with new iPhones is tough because they're too fast for the flickering and usually the scale readout is blank so I think it was a drive across and see. Resolution on this scale is 20lbs so there's a little wiggle room as opposed to a corner weight setup. Plus, it's used to weighing 70-80k, so 1/20th of that may not be ***** on either.
Spin the truck around and see if the weight moves as expected.

Yeah this is my plan. I need to put the wheels back on. I also removed the front bumper and it's not going back on. So I'll just start over. I should have an update in a couple days after I find some time. Corner weights are funny. Could be a bad shock or saggy spring too putting more weight on the other corners. Let's see what my I find when I move the scales around though.
Finally got it back together enough to be able to weigh it again. Got some more realistic looking numbers. I moved the scales side to side and the numbers followed as expected. I must have had a rock or something under the foot of what of the scale pads before. I don't honestly know.
Anyway, no front bumper, no passengers, nothing inside and fuel light on. Weighs in at 4763
