Default Weird Electrical Issues. Any ideas?

2001 Disco 2. Here’s the main issue. The rear right brake light doesn’t work. I ordered a new unit and that doesn’t work either. The left one works fine, and reverse lights on both sides come on. To trouble shoot. I plugged in my left side unit into the right side and for some reason that worked. Then I plugged in my right side unit into my left and that worked as well - so it doesn’t appear to be the bulbs. Not sure if that’s the best way to troubleshoot because of differing pins?

Also, when in park, when I press on the brake pedal I hear a clicking noise coming from the dash and near the shifter.

In addition to this brake light issue, the red emergency break light won’t go away on the dash. The e brake is down but does work when pulled. There’s plenty of brake fluid as well.

Finally, there appears to be some slow electrical draw. If I leave the rover sitting for a couple weeks the battery will be super low or dead. It’s a brand new battery.

The previous owner did some weird electrical upgrades like installing DVD players in the headrests and splicing in an aftermarket radio/head unit (I’ve since taken this out).

Not sure if any of these are connected? Would appreciate some help here - especially on the rear brake light because I can’t get it inspected.

thanks!!

Update: rear right railing is working now. I had so disconnect it, reconnect left, and then reconnect right in that order. However now the right blinker is super dim. So not sure what to do about that

There are fuses in the passenger compartment fusebox for the right lights and left lights. I forget what the number for the right one is, but the icons inside the lid should guide you to the correct one. Pretty sure it's a 10A.
The clicking by the shifter is normal. That's the shift interlock releasing the shift lever.

A dim light sounds to me like a poor ground or other connector

I’m not very good with electrical auto stuff but the emergency brake light staying on could be a low brake fluid

dead battery after 2 weeks well I would disconnect all those DVD players from PO and see
