Default Weird engine sound

Hey fellas:

Here's the scoop on my '03 disco, 95k miles, 2nd owner for two years, all service up to date. Daily commute car and never seen any off-roading.

My Landy sounds like a Harley whose muffler has been removed and lasts for about 8 minutes, or just until the engine temp starts reading right at about mid 180s. Put another way, the engine noise sounds almost as though I've got a hole in the muffler and has a very throaty sound. Sounds kinda of cool and all, but I've never had this issue before. No codes erupt or ever have since the loud throaty sound started. The sound is only audible in the mornings (I live just North of Boston)...or mainly if the engine hasn't been turned over for a good 12 hours or so. I run RP 20-50 but getting ready to switch to Rotella come November. I am due for a HG job and I also have a small antifreeze leak. Good news is that the antifreeze isn't leaking into the block.

My only theory about the noise is that the engine needs to get nice and toasty warm so that the gasket seals can swell and when they do, the loud Harley throaty sound is gone. Any other observations? Thanks fellas.

Trying making a video with your phone while the engine is cold.

Sounds like an SAI issue.

Solenoid not working, clogged valves or bad pump will send that exhaust stream back through the SAI pump if there is a failure in any one SAI component.

The symptom is the low burble.
