Default Weird radio and window issue, ground? Fuse box?

I have a 2003 discovery and whenever I push the window up buttons the radio skips out and the lights dim alittle, what’s causing this what should I test ? This doesn’t happen when the car is running only in ignition

This is odd, for sure- does it only happen when you push the up button AND the windows are already all the way up? Just trying to think of things that would draw a lot of current and cause a voltage drop large enough to give your radio headaches. How old is your battery? Any trouble starting the truck?

yes only when the windows all the way up. Battery is only a year old and is a type65 so it’s decently big. The truck doesn’t have too many issues starting but every now and then it stalls but I think that’s a whole different issue

May not be related, but you should check your battery -ve ground connections. Sounds as if when you are placing a heavy draw on current (window full up), the battery can't keep up supply. Indicates a weak connection somewhere.

any ground in particular? I have to put in a new battery holder so I can fix the battery one but should I also clean up the one going to the block

I had a problem with the ground from battery to engine (near alt bracket), but also the ground in the engine bay to the firewall should be checked. There are many posts on ground issues.
