I am going to be reinstalling my '05 Mustang fan, and am struggling with the best way to mount it.

I am leaning toward buying some Aluminum tabs, and having them welded onto the radiator. Two on top, and two on bottom to mount the fan to them.

From my understanding I need to have aluminum tabs to weld to the radiator, but have no experience with it.

What do you guys think?

 

That should work ok. Even a propane torch and those Alumaweld rods should suffice with mounting these tabs.

 

I will check Youtube out. Is it possible to damage the inside of the radiator during this process?
