thanks guys ...the bumper cost me about 150.00 in metal plus some scraps I had laying around the house it was mostly just cost me time ....which the wife wasn't happy about over Christmas holidays lol.... as far as body mods not much had to cut the 1/2 inch flange below the grill out and thats is only in the spots where the winch hit I have a 12000 pound winch might not have had to do that if i had a 8000 pound winch not sure though but it is very very minimal trimming ill post some pics up I am hoping to put it on this afternoon...hey potxoli you should learn to weld its not that hard as long as you get yourself a decent machine it is a invaluable ability to have if you like to go wheeling ....

- Couple hundred $$ on Craigslist Hobart Handler 125
- $50 for a helmet (get an auto-dimming one)
- ~$50 for pliers, brushes, clamps, magnets
- some steel (Home depot, lowes, menards will have stuff you can buy for practice or real runs)
From there, its really just learning a little technique along with getting over the trepidation to put your face 6 inches from the weld-zone so you can see the puddle.
Im speaking from experience, as I also learned to weld because ROVER...https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...part-ii-50945/

...Im with ya fish I have recovery points there is three holes on the bottom edge of both sides of the winch plate that I have built bolt on d rings for I didnt want them hanging off the front also the floods are pointed that way to light up in front of the wheels and go wide to the sides I figure the led light bar and the 75 watt hids will give me enough forward light to see directly in front the only thing is I cant decide if i like the light bar ...I am thinking some 9 inch round arb leds what do you guys think?
