Default Wet Carpet

I noticed over the weekend that the carpet on my drivers side was wet, both front and back door areas. Looked for any obvious sign of leaks around door seal or any window left cracked open. All seemed to be fine. Any possible problem area I should look for?

2 drains for each, each one has a drain in each front corner. You may have a plugged drain or one of the tubes has become detached, is the head liner wet?

No the headliner does not appear to be wet and no stains indicate that it has not been.I will look to follow drain tubes and look for a clog. Wet on driverside only!

Here's an easy check too. If it is clogged, make sure and wear old clothes. Lots of dirt and gunk come out..

Make sure and check the drivers and pass side. I only posted pics of the pass side..

Good Luck!

I would be putting some effort into drying out your carpet before they mildew, get them pulled up, including the pads suck out as much as you can, use a fan to help dry the carpet and something to kill any mold and smell.

yeah, but all he said was he had wet carpet. I was giving him another place to check for a cause of the wet carpet. Clogged a/c drains will do it too. He has stated that his headliner is dry, and as far as I know, a leaking sunroof drain will leave some sort of moisture on the headliner...

I had flooding in both front floor boards on my 97 disco ran down from under the center console, sometimes it poured. After alot of fretting a very kind mechanic found thatthe hose to the a/c overflow wasclogged. he ran a wire through it to push the gunk out and only charged me for an hour of labor.
