I am using the term "work light" loosely. I think the reverse lights suck and I am going off road next week for several days. Some of the trails don't lend themselves to turning around so I want to be able to light up the woods behind me if I need to back out.

Also you are correct that the headlights must be on in order to enable the rear fog lights, but I have confirmed on my disco that I don't have to also turn on the front fog lights.

It will do for now!

Strictly speaking the fog lights can be turned on with just the parking lights on, at least according to the manual. I’ve never had occasion to confirm that though.

I love when people feel the need to cover their license plate when in fact thousands look at it everyday when you drive around.

Good old internet myths.

Nah - I work for the CIA and the disco is my clandestine, surveillance vehicle. Don't want to blow my cover.

Before and after picture. Rear flood lights provide exactly what I was looking for.

Reverse lights only

Rear flood lights.

I always thought that was to determine if the jellyfish were coming out of the water
