That's an interesting one:

P1129 O sensors swapped bank to bank (sensor 1) Front sensors transposed

The connectors on the front and rear are physically different so you are correct it would be hard to switch them unless they are the universal kind of O2 sensors where you splice on your own connector. I'm not even sure how the computer would know that sensors are switched bank to bank. Unless they mean front to rear.

1129 is a weird code that makes no since at all, as already mentioned the connections are different front to rear and it doesn't make a difference with the front 02's which are the same.

Jbegin,
Do you have a scanner that will show you what the 02's are doing, if so, is there any difference between the 2 front signals?

wondering if i should clear out the codes and see which ones come back, maybe this 1129 is just a fluke and my disco is making things up....

Disco Mike,
Nope,my scanner is just the basic one from AB... i dont think it tells what the 02's are doing.

I would clear your codes and see what comes back. Also rent a scanner from autozone that will read live data and see what the voltages are for each O2 sensor. Maybe you will get lucky and one will be out of whack.
