Default What battery for 03 Disco?

I have an 03 Disco that will need a new battery soon. I was looking at the Optima batteries and wondered if they are worth the price. I found the RedTop (25 9025-160) for $162 shipped at Summit Racing. Does anyone use these, and do they require adaptors to fit in a Disco? Rob

I run dual Yellow Top batteries and that being said, I would suggest you go to Sears and buy thier Blue Platinum deep cycle battery in a series 34, it is a lot better deal then a Red or Yellow Top.

Go to AutoZone and get a 34-DLG for $80.
1000 CCA, 3yr full replacement and 5yr prorated warranty.
It is made by Johnson Controls in Holland MI.

I bought an Autozone Duralast Gold. Got the biggest one that would fit in my battery compartment.
